Class 1A Baby Puppy Bitch (1 entered)
1st (no18) A & R Spargo’s “Lanbart Royal Charm” Although very young this bitch shows good promise overall very good feet at this age Baby Puppy in show

1st (no 25) Mr & Mrs Soper’s “Devonview Tamie” 1st place was bitch that showed head & type to be good, feet and movement good Reserve challenge bitch & Junior in show
2nd (no 27) A & R Spargo’s “Pureheel Royal Impulse” was a little cut up for a cattle dog
3rd (no 26) K & S Roberts “ Braxley Blue Rosie Girl” showed promise but a novice exhibitor for handler didn’t help, however with time could be ok
Class 5A Intermediate Bitch (2 entered, 1 absent)

Class 10A Australian Bred Bitch (4 entered)
1st (no32) Mr D Murphy’s “ Maryheather Red Joy” This bitch showed the standard to the tee. Good feet, movement, again showed the free easy stride that could have worked all day
2nd (no 30) S & J Scholes’s “ Strathblue Heres Trouble” This bitch moved well but preferred the 1st place
3rd (no33) A & R Spargo’s “Ch Pureheel Royal Diva” Bitch not as free in her movement, wasn’t happy to be shown & crouched a little
Class 11A Open Bitch (7 entered, 1 absent)
1st (no 37) M & M Turner’s “ Ch Austheel Miss Muffet” Good bitch overall with good topline Challenge bitch & Best in Show, Open in show
2nd (no34) Mrs H Dickson’s “Tallawong Snow Blossom” Preferred topline on my first
3rd (no38) Mr W & Mrs A Lewis’s “Nerralee Hot Gossip” A little heavy overall for active cattle dog
Overall the blues speckle were better colour. Some of the red speckle were not of a good speckle. A couple of heads & jaws were weaker than I was looking for, as were a couple of the bites not being true scissor. Some feet were not round & tight as a working dog needs & quite a few toplines were not level but were down at shoulder & ran up to tail. I enjoyed my winners as I felt that they were type showed that they could work well
