BABY PUPPY DOG
Only two but both quality babies.
1ST PUREHEEL ROYAL TITAN- My winner a 3 months old had a lovely head, with good ears. His body was well proportioned with well laid shoulders. Good tight feet. Well turned stifle. Moved well. Promising baby.
2ND MARYHEATHER WOLFMAN- A 5 months baby. Not quite the head of No. 1. Good eye shape and colour.Good ears. Another good body. Well laid front and hindquarters.
MINOR PUPPY DOG
1ST AVONPARK THUNDERSTRUCK-Only puppy in this class. Head quite pleasing. Would like a better eye shape. Used ears well. Little immature in body at this stage. Clean movement.
PUPPY DOG
1ST AVONPARK RED ROCK- Lovely red 11 months puppy. Good strong head. Good angulation in front. Level top-line. Moderate turn of stifle.
2ND DEVONVIEW KISS ME MISTER- 8 months. Did not have as good temperament as No, 1. Good type with pleasing head. Lovely thick ears. Feet need to tighten. Well proportioned body.
JUNIOR DOG
1ST MARYHEATHER THUNDABOLT -Lovely type 15 months. Well shaped head. Good mouth. Good eye shape and colour. Well carried erect ears. Good width of chest. Well proportioned body. Well laid shoulders and stifles. Lovely tight feet. Moved and handled well.
2ND NERRALEE SON OF A KISS Smaller type, not quite the style of my first dog. Pleasing head and ears. Good mouth. Not quite as good proportioned body as my winner. Moderate turn of stifle.
INTERMEDIATE DOG
1ST CH AVONPARK GOLDMINOR- A strong well proportioned dog. Strong skull, good eyes and ears. Good width in front. Well laid shoulders and hindquarters. However top line a little soft on the day.
2ND CH PUREHEEL ROYAL WARRIOR Good head shape. Lovely eye shape and colour. Well carried ears. Not quite the body proportions of my winner. Did not move as well as No.1
AUSTRALIAN BRED DOG.
1ST CH AUSTHEEL MISTER MUSCLE- A medium sized dog of good type. Wide skull and good strength of muzzle. Dark eyes. Moderately angled shoulders and hindquarters. Well ribbed back. Would like more extension on the move.
2ND KYLOTT FABLED ONE- Racy, top of height dog. Strong skull and muzzle. Good eyes. Moderately turned stifles. Longer cast than winner.
OPEN DOG.
A strong class. Best of the day.
1ST CH MARYHEATHER DRUMBOY- A quality dog. Height to length proportions good. Strong skull and good width of muzzle, Correct mouth. Well shaped eyes and dark colour. Erect ears but would like them a little smaller. Good neck into shoulders. Lovely width of front. Well angled front and matching rear. Moved with ease.
2ND CH NERRALEE KISS THIS-Another good one. Not much between these two. Again a good head but with better ears than No.1 Good body with well laid shoulders and turn of stifle. Feet not as tight as No.1. Also a good moving dog.
3RD CH PUREHEEL ROYAL WARNING- Also good type, unlucky to meet these two. Good skull and muzzle. Dark eyes Good ears.Well proportioned body.
All three good type Cattle Dogs.
VETERAN.
1ST GRAND CH MENORABLUE LEGEND-A lovely good oldie. Hard to believe his age. A strong head with good expression. Good flow from neck into shoulders into well laid shoulders. Good turn of hindquarters. Carrying a little weight, but what a delight to judge. Moved well.
BABY PUPPY BITCH
1ST MARYHEATHER OUTLAW- A very promising 4 months old red. Skull and muzzle of good proportions. Body, front and rear angulation good.
2ND PUREHEEL ROYAL INDULGENC- Another good baby, 5 months blue. Good shape head with pleasing expression. Good eye colour. Ears soft on the day. Good body shape.
3RD PUREHEEL ROYAL SECRET- Lacking the maturity of 1 and 2 but still of good type. Good skull and muzzle but not quite the strength of the others. Top line needs to tighten up.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH
1ST DEVONVIEW HOLLY- Only entrant, but good type and proportions. Lovely skull and strong muzzle. Erect ears. Good angulation to front and rear. Good feet. Easy mover.
PUPPY BITCH
1ST MARYHEATHER BONNIE BLAZE- A good type with a lot to like about her, but unfortunately a bit shy on the day.
JUNIOR BITCH
1ST MARYHEATHER BLUE RIVER- A good style of bitch. Good expression and head. Dark eyes.Well placed ears. Neck flowing into well placed shoulders. Well proportioned body with well turned stifles. Good feet. Moved well.
2ND BLUERANCH SHEPS IDOL- Another good bitch but not quite the maturity of first. Pleasing head. Would like a little stronger boning, and a better turn of stifle
INTERMEDIATE BITCH
1ST CH DEVONVIEW TAMIE- Lovely type bitch. Good head shape with strong muzzle. Well proportioned body with wide front and good depth of chest. Well angled shoulders and hindquarters.
2ND KYLOTT EAGERLY AWAITED- A lighter style. Good type head. Would like smaller ears. Moderately angled front and rear. Not as well ribbed back as No 1.
AUSTRALIAN BRED BITCH
1ST CH PUREHEEL ROYAL IMPULSE- Lovely head - skull broad, muzzle strong. Ears thick and small. Neck flowing well into well angled shoulders. Good width and depth of chest, well ribbed back. Level top line. Good body proportions. Tight feet. Moved well.
2ND MARYHEATHER RED JOY Another good type but not quite as strong in muzzle as No.1. A good well proportioned body, with good angulation. A lot to like.
3RD Good type head, eyes and ears. Not the strength of top line as the other two. Would like more rear angulation.
OPEN BITCH
1ST CH NERRALEE TOHOTTOHANDLE- Quality style bitch. Good head shape and strength. Eye shape and colour good. Well proportioned body, Good front and well ribbed back. Strong top line. Good angulation of shoulders and hindquarters. Moved easily.
2ND CH AUSTHEEL MISS MUFFET- Another good bitch. Not much between these two. Strong head and muzzle. Erect ears. My winner had the stronger top line.
3RD NERRALEE HOT GOSSIP- This bitch carrying too much weight. Good head. Top line dipped. Would improve in fitter condition.
My Best in Show went to the Open dog, with Runner up to the Reserve C,C.. dog who was also from the Open class.
I thank you all for the privilege of judging your show. It was an extremely hot day. And the dogs performed remarkably well in the heat. You have some lovely dogs and some promising youngsters.
